First stages of my first attempt at a hand carved lure. African Oak and Purpleheart.
Next some cleaning up, gill carving, eyes
Than lip, hooks and finishing.
Who know if it will catch anything, but it's been fun.

Great maiden voyage today. Landed a bunch of pike. Today's best was not too bad.
