Today is a very special day. Mine and Andy’s 10th wedding anniversary. My beautiful angel in rock and roll heaven. We eloped after a few weeks of knowing each other and got married on stage at the railway club in Vancouver after our gig. We were married by a dude named Paul Simon (we chose him deliberately of course, after receiving a full list of available commissioners in the area). We didn’t have rings so instead he gave me his Stratocaster and I gave him a Kit Kat bar (yeah cheap ass I know but I was always telling him “gimme a break” lol) as a symbol of our commitment. Our first dance song was “Thank You” by Led Zeppelin.

We did not have any pictures taken of the night (except for some my cousin took then she lost her phone lol), just pure presence; existing in the moment. My little cousin gave me away. We spent all our money on our marriage licence so had to busk in Gas Town for Gas to get home. And a few strangers took some nice photos of us - what you’re seeing here. If this isn’t true love and rock and roll, I don’t know what is. Happy anniversary baby, my soulmate in heaven. Love you forever chunk. ❤️🤘🏼

Hey everyone, this was not an easy call to make… I tried everything under the sun to remedy this but to no avail. I have lost my voice and am unable to sing tonight.
