📢 Urgent Action Needed for Canadians with Disabilities 🇨🇦

The time to is now! and ensure a better future for Canadians living with disabilities.

Over 70,000 postcards have been mailed to the Finance Minister on behalf of thousands of individuals living with disabilities. We can no longer wait for the necessary support and change.

Living with a disability is already a daily battle, but the financial burdens faced by ourselves and our loved ones only add to the challenges we overcome. Adequate disability benefits are not just a matter of convenience; they are critical to our quality of life and even our survival.

Since 2020, we’ve been promised the Canada Disability Benefit, a federal income program that aims to ‘top up’ provincial disability benefits and eliminate the deep poverty many disabled Canadians are currently facing. Yet, we are still waiting.

It’s time for politicians at all levels of government to truly listen to the voices of disabled Canadians and comprehend our needs. We urge our elected representatives to take swift action and prioritize allocating funds to support disabled individuals across the country.
