This year’s birthday exchange cake was for .

For this cake, I decided it’s finally time to give buttercream wave a try. It was very intimidating as once you start, you have no control over it. It took a couple tries because I kept cutting into the top as I was finishing off. I also added some wafer paper flowers for a nice little pop. To finish off, I added some edible bronze throughout - decided to stray away from gold for change! Finally, to accompany the cake, I crocheted a broccoli plushie.
