I was told the story behind these smaller boilers was that. They we're shipped to Alberta by a client in Manitoba and back in the day B gas fitters in Manitoba couldn't touch equipment over 400,000 BTU's, so they just worked around it and placed several small boilers together. These boilers all shared one skin and a massive 24" common vent.
