Thanks for stopping by! Just for those of you who have recently hit that “follow” button on my feed, I thought I would introduce myself.

I’m Sora— the 🫀& 🧠 behind Studio Kollectiv.

I am a girl mom of two (6 & 10 y/o) and in the past 5 months became mum to two puppies— Hero (mini laboradoodle 6 months) & Indy (micro bernedoodle 7 weeks).

The past year has been full of changes— moving to North Vancouver, moving back from North Vancouver, opening a new studio, then being locked down one ☝🏽 day after being open…

One thing that has stayed consistent is the love of this city and the great people that live here.

When I made the decision to pick up and relocate to North Van, I was devastated to be leaving behind so many great clients, friends, and colleagues. 6 months later, when I moved back to Calgary, I was worried sick about re opening my studio.

Worried that my clients have gone on to other businesses. Worried about the profound changes in my personal life that would turn my family’s life upside down. Worried about being able to be present in my daughters’ lives while wearing the many hats required of a business owner.

Can’t believe it’s been almost a year since I opened my studio at and thru all of the ups & downs in the past year, I am humbled to have experienced the support and love of all of you— my friends, my colleagues, and family.

So…thank you. Thank you to each and every one of you for lifting me up when I was down, and for giving me a purpose to thrive in this space.🙏🏼
