We are so proud of our Calgary performers. 🎶

Being recommended to perform at the Alberta Music Festival (Provincials) is a big achievement. It means you were recognized as one of the top performers in your age category and discipline at your local festival.

That is something worth celebrating.🎉

Our Calgary performers worked hard to get to this point. They prepared, practised, listened to feedback, stepped onto the stage, and represented our city with talent, courage, and heart.

At Provincials, they performed alongside young musicians and speech performers from across Alberta. What an incredible experience and opportunity to learn, grow, and be inspired by others.

We also want to send our very best wishes to the performers who have been recommended to continue on to the Canada West Performing Arts Festival, taking place July 24 & 25, 2026, in Edmonton, Alberta.

The dads who drive to music lessons.

The dads who sit through rehearsals, concerts, recitals, and festival performances.

The dads who carry instruments, take videos, clap the loudest, and remind us to breathe before we walk on stage.

Your support matters more than you know.

Behind so many young performers is someone cheering them on, helping them show up, and believing in them every step of the way.

Your presence in our performer's journey has been one of the greatest gifts of all — from the drives to lessons and rehearsals, to the concerts, recitals, videos, applause, and quiet encouragement along the way.

You are appreciated more than you know, today and every day.

It’s Provincials week! 🎶

We want to send a huge congratulations and the very best of luck to our Calgary performers participating in the Alberta Music Festival Provincials this week in Edmonton, Alberta, from Monday, May 25 to Saturday, May 30.

You have worked so hard to get to this point.

You stepped onto the festival stage, shared your talent, listened to feedback, kept growing, and earned the opportunity to represent Calgary at the provincial level.

That is something to be very proud of.

Now it’s time to go out there, give it your all, and do your best. Take a deep breath. Trust your preparation. Enjoy the moment. And know that your Calgary Performing Arts Festival (CPAF) family is cheering you on from afar. 👏
