Promotion Day is coming up at Dojo Nine. 🥋
Tuesday, June 16 will be a special night for both our kids and adult teams as we recognize the hard work, consistency, and growth our students have put in on the mats.

A few highlights from the last tournament. 🥋🔥
Arm bars were definitely the theme of the day — sharp setups, great control, and a lot of finishes coming from the work we’ve been drilling in the gym.
What people see are the submissions and medals.
What they don’t always see are the rounds before class, the nerves, the setbacks, the consistency, and teammates pushing each other to improve every week.
Competition is only one part of the journey — but it’s always rewarding seeing the hard work show up under pressure.

STUDENTS OF THE MONTH — EMMANUEL & SERGIO
Not everyone needs to compete to be dangerous.
Sergio and Emmanuel aren’t chasing medals every weekend.
They’ve got responsibilities. Life outside the gym.
But when they step on the mats…
They train at a level most people can’t touch.
Technical.
Composed.
Mentally tough.
No ego. No noise. Just work.
Nothing is wasted.
Every round has purpose.
Every movement is intentional.
They take full ownership of their progress.
No excuses. No shortcuts.
And they make the room better.
The way they train, the way they carry themselves—
it lifts everyone around them.
They stay curious.
They refine.
They evolve.
And they’re always pushing just a little further.
Because of that…
They raise the standard — even in our pro sessions.
Not because they have to.
