A beautiful day at Silvertip, for a cause that truly matters. ⛳
Wilson M. Beck Insurance Alberta was proud to sponsor The Toni Kohn-Woodward Foundation Charity Golf Tournament at Silvertip Resort in on June 4.
Our team was set up at Hole 3, where Josh Hunt and Jalmer Lien welcomed golfers with a Hole in One opportunity and a raffle gift.
On the course, Terence D. Cairns, BBA and Brandon McCann represented WMB Alberta as part of the day’s play.
The tournament supports The Toni Kohn House, a local live-in housing program that provides a safe, home-like environment and support for young women at risk of homelessness. ✨
It was a great day of golf, community, and giving back in one of Alberta’s most beautiful settings.
Thank you to The TKW Foundation for organizing such a meaningful event. WMB Alberta was glad to be part of it.

WMB Stars | Meet Sebastian Arakaki Yamakawa
Building the next generation of professionals starts with giving them opportunities to learn, contribute, and grow.
That’s where Sebastian Arakaki’s journey at Wilson M. Beck Insurance Alberta began.
Currently a third-year Accounting student at the University of Calgary’s Haskayne School of Business, Sebastian joined WMB Alberta as a Co-op student and, after five months, earned a 12 month extension as an Accounting Associate.
“It has allowed me to take what I’m learning in class and apply it in a real business environment.” — Sebastian Arakaki
Today, Sebastian supports accounts receivable, accounts payable, reconciliations, and other key accounting functions that help keep our operations running smoothly.
His journey reflects something we strongly believe in at WMB Alberta: creating meaningful opportunities for students to gain hands-on experience while building the skills that will shape their future careers.

A great few days with Concrete Alberta.
Wilson M. Beck Insurance Alberta was proud to be part of Concrete Alberta’s Annual General Meeting and Convention at Kananaskis Mountain Lodge, including the final day golf event at Kananaskis Golf Club.
Jalmer Lien, Account Executive, Commercial Lines, and Dillon Buzan, Account Executive, Surety, had the opportunity to connect with members throughout the convention, from the trade show to the closing golf event.
We were also pleased to support the event through hospitality sponsorships, prize draws, and giveaways, helping create a welcoming experience for members throughout the convention.
