After an incredible round of auditions, bold choices, and enough chemistry to make the hockey romance girlies unwell, we are thrilled to introduce the cast of Power Play.

This brand new Full Circle retelling of The Taming of the Shrew is fast, funny, messy, and already giving rivals-to-lovers with a PR problem. We cannot wait to get this team on the ice.

You brought charm, chemistry, bold choices, and so much heart. Most of all, you reminded us yet again how much talent this community holds.

To every artist who shared their time, energy, and instincts with us: thank you. You made the world of the Padua Pythons feel funny, messy, electric, and very real.

Now we’re off to watch, rewatch, and make some very difficult roster decisions.

Happy 362nd birthday to William Shakespeare. Almost four decades on and still starting fights, breaking hearts, and inspiring questionable romantic decisions.

We’re celebrating the only way we know how:
by taking one of his wildest plays and making it even messier.

Look at these lovely and talented theatre artists! We are so proud of , and for the absolutely stunning work they did on “Lady Jane Waiting” at the Calgary One-Act Play Festival. This was our first year participating and it was an inaugural show to be proud of. Special congrats to Ciorstaidh who snagged Best Performance… what a powerhouse! ❤️❤️❤️

Power Play is a brand-new script that throws The Taming of the Shrew onto the ice and straight into a media firestorm. A razor-sharp PR director meets her match in a newly traded star defenceman with a reputation problem, and suddenly it’s rivalry, chemistry, hockey chaos, and deeply inconvenient feelings.

Enemies-to-lovers? Obviously.
Bad press? Constantly.
Classic Shakespeare-level disguises? Wouldn't you like to know!
