Job Description:
As a Roofer, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofs on residential and commercial buildings. You will work with various roofing materials including shingles, metal, and flat roofing systems. This is a physically demanding job, requiring attention to detail, reliability, and a commitment to high standards.

Responsibilities:

Install, repair, and maintain various types of roofs, including shingles, metal, and flat roofing systems.
Remove old roofing materials and prepare surfaces for new installation.
Ensure all installations are done correctly, safely, and in compliance with industry standards.
Inspect and assess roof damage to determine necessary repairs.
Work closely with the team and supervisors to ensure projects are completed on time and meet customer satisfaction.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Communicate professionally with clients when needed.
Qualifications:

Previous experience in roofing or construction is preferred.
Fall Protection and EWP ticket
Knowledge of different roofing systems and materials.
Ability to work at heights and handle physically demanding tasks.
Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
Knowledge of safety procedures and the ability to work safely on job sites.
Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
Preferred Qualifications:

Certification or training in roofing or construction.
Experience with specialized roofing materials (e.g., slate, tile, metal).
OSHA or other safety certifications.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 60 per week

Schedule:

8 hour shift
Monday to Friday

We’re looking for a skilled Painter/Sandblaster for our Nisku, AB warehouse. You will be expected to work on the day and/or night shifts as the warehouse is open 7 days a week.

The day shift hours are 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM and you will work 4 days on and 2 days off, night shift is Monday to Friday 4:30 PM – 1-1:30 AM with every other Saturday.

Key Responsibilities:
-Airless spray painting & sandblasting heavy equipment, structural steel, and more.
-Work with various coatings, read blueprints, and ensure a smooth finish.
-Maintain equipment and meet project timelines.

What We’re Looking For:
-2+ years of industrial painting experience
-Strong mechanical skills and ability to work in all weather
-Team player with a great attitude
Pay: $28-$35/hr competitive hourly rate based on experience + overtime opportunities
