Some stories are about challenges we face quietly, but the lessons ripple into everything we do. The path we walk shapes the way we show up for ourselves, for others, and for the work we love. My journey with endometriosis has taught me resilience, empathy, and strength — qualities that guide how I lead and build DWK Interiors.

March is Endometriosis Awareness Month, and I lived with this for 25 years before being diagnosed. Being dismissed, pushing through, and learning to advocate for myself didn’t just shape me personally, it shaped the kind of leader I am today.

After publicly sharing my story last year, this feels like another layer. I’ve always said, if sharing my story could help just one person, it’s worth it and I share it here in hopes to spread the word. So when I was asked to contribute to again, it was an easy yes.
