The world is full of so much distraction. People are clamoring to be seen, acknowledged, and heard. Yet, we don't give space for people to speak from their heart in a deep, meaningful way, and many people don't know how to listen. In my latest video, I talk about listening and communication skills. Then I discuss the beautiful indigenous tradition of a sharing circle and using a talking stick to allow people to share their thoughts, feelings, experiences, and contributions without interruption, criticism, or judgment. I hope you create a safe space and adopt this tradition in your family, with your friends, and in your community. It's a way to truly connect with each other from soul to soul. It's life changing.
