🎂 URGENT: WE NEED CHOCOLATE CAKE MIX! 🎂

Our chocolate cake mix shelves are EMPTY—and we need your help to bring birthdays to life!

We celebrate over 100 birthdays every month for vulnerable children in our community, and every birthday bag includes a cake mix, a tub of icing, and sprinkles. But right now, we’re out of the always popular chocolate cake mix — and that means some kids may miss out on the joy of celebrating this sweet part of their special day.

✨ Here’s how you can help:

Check your local grocery store - anything $2.00 or less is a great deal! Grab a few and donate!
Every box of cake mix = one more child who gets to feel special, seen, and celebrated on their special day.
Let’s make sure no child goes without a birthday.

👉 Drop off your donations at our building in West Hillhurst NW anytime during our open hours.

Today, we honour Jawad and the love that continues to surround his memory. 💫

LEGO was Jawad’s favourite, he especially loved Pokémon Lego sets and would build displays to surprise his family and friends with his exciting LEGO creations. 💙

His loving family collected Lego, toys, cake mix, icing, party supplies and decorations in his memory, to support local children facing crisis and bring happiness and joy on their birthdays. 🎂

We’re deeply grateful for the El-Sarji and Soboh families for putting together this incredible donation drive in memory of Jawad.💗
