The first 40 days after birth matter more than most people realize. In Chinese Medicine, this is a sacred period to rebuild qi + blood and promote long term recovery.
We focus on things such as bonding, rest, warmth and slower living 🤍 If you are navigating postpartum or beginning to prepare for it, this is your reminder that rest is medicine.
I know meeting a newborn is exciting but remember the focus during this time. Keep visits PLANNED and short, ask how you can support (food is amazing), wash your hands and stay home if you even have a little sniffle or cough.
