In my year of reign, my heart is set on one mission: to lift women up. All women—immigrant women, women in shelters, single moms, older women forgotten by the world. I remember the pain of arriving in Canada alone… the silence of lonely nights, the weight of starting over, the desperate wish for someone—anyone—to guide me.

Now, I am that someone. I’ve made it my purpose to help women find their way—connecting them with places, people, jobs, and most importantly, hope.

This year, I dream of creating a sisterhood—a powerful group of women supporting each other and lifting others along the way. No woman should walk alone in the dark when we can be the light for one another.

And on top of that, my heart also beats for the voiceless—our animals. I would love to help find a loving home for every abandoned soul at the Humane Society. Some of those sweet babies have been waiting over a year for a family. Whether it’s foster care or forever homes, I’ll do everything I can to make sure they know love too.
