Meet Nicole from The Shop, one of the friendly faces that helps make the Club so welcoming!

Nicole has been part of the CWC team for 3 years. Originally from the Yukon, she and her husband made the move to Calgary for work and have now called the city home for 35 years. Together, they’ve raised two kids—a son and a daughter—who both still live in Calgary.

Before joining the Club, Nicole worked as a CPA in the oil and gas industry. Her journey to the CWC started after meeting May, whose openness and fresh ideas left a lasting impression. Inspired, Nicole looked into the Club and was drawn to the strong sense of community—especially the opportunity to connect with both Members and coworkers.

If you’ve admired the beautiful seasonal displays and festive touches around The Shop, you’ve likely seen Nicole’s creativity in action. She puts so much care into decorating for holidays and special occasions, creating warm and welcoming displays that help make the Club feel extra special throughout the year. ✨

Outside of work, Nicole stays active and adventurous. She loves playing basketball, hunting, and camping. She also has a big heart for giving back—fostering dogs through AARCS and volunteering her time whenever she can. On weekends, Nicole enjoys spending quality time with her husband and kids, making the most of family time.

Meet Patricia, our amazing Banquets Supervisor!
 
Patricia has been with the CWC for 5 years this August. Her favourite part of working here is the people—the staff and team create a strong, supportive, and highly respected environment. She grew up in Toronto and moved to Calgary when she was 14.
 
Patricia is a karaoke enthusiast and is part of the U of C Choir! Outside of the Club, she recently graduated from the University of Calgary with a degree in Law and Society and is headed to Queen’s University in September to study law. She hopes to practice criminal or family law long term.
