Our team recently completed pruning on three large poplar trees in Langdon. The work focused on removing deadwood and reducing over-extended branches to help lower the risk of storm-related damage.

The client had experienced a few branch failures in the past and wanted to ensure their property stayed safe heading into the winter season. By addressing structural concerns now, we’re helping extend the health of the trees and providing peace of mind for the future.

LE Landscapes, a division of LE Construction & Maintenance, recently completed a full playground construction project for a new daycare tenant at 601 17 Ave SW.

Working within a tight urban footprint came with its own challenges — restricted access, busy pedestrian corridors, and the need to coordinate effectively with neighboring businesses. Despite that, our in-house teams delivered a thoughtfully designed play space tailored for young children.

The project included several key components, each installed by our own crews:

- Retaining wall installation to define and support the play area
- Concrete walkway installation for clear and durable access
- Asphalt installation to complete surrounding surface grades
- Fencing installation to secure the perimeter
- Artificial turf installation to create a clean, soft, low-maintenance play surface

From design to final construction, every detail was managed in-house to ensure quality, functionality, and a well-executed final result — all within the constraints of an urban site.
