Spark had the recent privilege of producing Champion Chats for Classroom Champions at the beautiful Fairmont Palliser Hotel Calgary. The room was filled with incredible energy as Trevor Linden, Mikael Backlund, and Meaghan Mikkelson sat down to share their stories of setbacks, mentorship, and what it really takes to achieve something great.

Classroom Champions is on a mission to connect kids across Canada with elite athlete mentors, and the impact speaks for itself. If you are looking for a cause worth supporting, this is one worth knowing about.

Something's abuzz at Residence Inn by Marriott Calgary Downtown/Beltline District!

Spark recently had the privilege of being invited to a breakfast and site visit that included the Marriott Residence Inn's on-site beehives. Having bees onsite means guests are treated to the freshest honey, journeying just a few feet from hive to table.

The beehives are an exciting part of Marriott's sustainability program that does more than just add a natural and lively touch to their stunning modern spaces, but helps support bee populations and pollination in downtown Calgary.
