Kneading Balance Massage Therapy
05/24/2022
Why can’t long weekends be longer 😩
Maybe a 6-7 day long weekend. Is that so much to ask 😉
Going back to work after a long weekend is never fun, but before you take on another week of kids activities and deadlines and too many meetings…..
🧘♀️Take a nice deep breath
🧘Unclench your jaw
🧘♂️Relax your shoulders
And book a massage 💆

First fitness goal of 2022 completed ✔️
The last two years have been a lot and when I get overwhelmed the first thing I do to make myself feel better is grab a sweet treat and binge watch a tv show. Needless to say after two years of this pandemic I have been indulging in a lot of unhealthy comfort food and not a lot of activity.
In January, I decided to start making some small changes to improve my health and well-being.
First goal was to get moving again. I challenged myself to 20 minute of activity a day. To keep myself motivated, I signed up for three virtual challenges with and today I got my first medal in the mail for completing the 66km Flower Route 🌷
After two months, I look forward to my 20 minutes of activity everyday and I can’t wait to get my next medal in the mail.
This months goal is to cut down on the sugar. First week has been tough (I am on the fifth day of a headache) but as Dory always says….”just keep swimming” 🐠
I hope you all are taking care of yourself and remember one of the best ways to practice self care is to get a massage 💆
Self care is not just reactive, it is preventative.

It’s my favorite time of year again…..
🍁FALL🍁
I think fall is the most beautiful season. The colors are so vibrant and stunning. (Just look at this picture of me at Wedge Pond in Kananaskis this weekend 😍)
Fall comes with pumpkin spice, cooler weather and Halloween 🎃
The arrival of fall also reminds me:
1. Let things go that no longer serve me. All around us trees are starting to shed their leaves. This great reminder of how healthy it can be to let things go that we don’t need anymore. It makes us lighter and allows for new growth to start within us. What are you going to let go of this fall?
2. Everything is impermanent. These past couple years have challenged us like we never thought was possible. Fall reminds me that it won’t be like this forever, which is a welcomed reminder.
I hope you all are taking advantage of the beauty of this season while it is here (like I did this weekend 😎)
Be kind to yourself and remember self care is not just reactive it is preventative, so go book yourself a massage 💆💆♂️
