Calgary Communists

The last three years have been the hottest on record. Our February feels like balmy spring, summers melt asphalt, and yet these real events are pushed to the side by the people causing this: the capitalists, not the working class.
Just 100 fossil fuel producers have been linked to 71% of greenhouse gasses since the 1980's. Today, just 57 companies have caused 80% of emissions since 2016, causing trillions of dollars in damage to infrastructure, environment, deaths of human and wildlife, and much more.

The climate crisis isn't just another capitalist crisis, it's an existential threat to life, something which has to be stopped through militant organizing, revolutionary leadership, and class war based methods.
