the morning person era starts now 🌅

i set my alarm for 6:30am every single night with full intentions and then proceed to snooze until 7:15 without fail. 5am is going to be a whole adjustment 🥴🥴 but i like a good challenge.

this week’s plan: 3 consecutive 6am classes booked because if there’s a cancellation fee on the line, i WILL get up 😭

anyway, this was from Tuesday and I was so shocked how bright it is outside at 5:30 am 🙈 Calgary downtown is also surprisingly peaceful which I love!

Living together is beautiful…

but it can get routine fast. Between our busy schedules with work, personal goals, and hobbies, quality time starts looking a lot like chores, laundry, and zoning out on the couch together.

It can feel like we’re together but not really present.

So we made a rule: don’t just co-exist. Keep dating each other, keep showing up.

Anyway, this is your reminder to stop coexisting with your partner. Reconnect and keep getting to know each other. After all, love is more than just a feeling. It is a commitment.

Schedules dates if you have to. Put it in your calendar. No errands, no multitasking.

Plot twist: my life wasn’t boring in the Blue Sky City.

I thought my life was boring because I work a 9-5. Turns out I was just burnt out and stuck in the same routine. Wake up. Work. Sleep. Repeat 🔁

I decided to make a change. I started doing little side quests outside of my 9 to 5. Trying new workouts. Going on walks. Attending events. And somehow life started to feel more interesting again ✨

The Blue Sky City did not suddenly become magical. It was always full of beauty, community, and little moments worth noticing. I just had to meet it halfway.

So if you are feeling stuck, you should do something outside of your routine. Calgary still has so much to give you🌤️
