Only a small portion intersects ecological habitat or wetlands, and where it does, we take extra care to protect and restore those spaces.

The first Green Line LRT trains are officially being built — and for the first time, we’re sharing an exclusive look at how they’re coming together.

The first two vehicles are being built now and will be carefully tested, tuned, and perfected before the rest of the fleet is produced. This important step helps ensure the Green Line delivers a transit experience that’s more accessible, reliable, and designed for everyday Calgary life.
