A perfect start to summer- took the kids to Dino Summer at TELUS Spark, this experience is there from June 27 to September 1, and we still haven’t stopped talking about it

thank you TELUS Spark for inviting us to experience SUE: The T. rex Experience, the largest and most complete T. rex skeleton ever found, full scale casts and a whole prehistoric world built around her

next stop was Brainasium Outdoor Park, a 63 foot slide, saucer swings, a playground built around how kids brains develop and a local celebrity dinosaur hanging around for photos

we wandered past fossil casting in Steven’s Lab early on, it runs 10am to 3pm and you sign up there to reserve a spot, ages 7 and up, ours was full but watching kids mix, pour and set their own 66 million year old fossil keepsake looked so fun, signing up early next timE

we also wandered through the digital immersion gallery, so much more to do here too, live science demos, the BLUprint Experience where you can try welding and carpentry, RO5iE the robot roller coaster, and the Creative Kids Museum are all calling our name for next time

as the day wound down we caught the new T. rex documentary in the Infinity Dome, 42 minutes of giant screen dinosaur science, then ended on astronaut ice cream, nine planetary flavours and counting, Dino Summer really does have something for everyone
