What I love most about my recent visit to Mexico. Learning about our connections to other cultures, in Mexico our guide Perfecto talked about First Nations, Maya and the Peruvian peoples, we are all connected with the same traditions, we just practice a little different. From guide to guide I walked side by side the guides and asked one million questions, I found myself full of curiosity and to tell you the truth Mexico felt like home. I was blown away with the knowledge each of the guides hold, I often reflect on how I share stories of our Indigenous ways, it felt good to say I am on the right track. With my commitment to continuing to learning of our stories, there’s so much more to share, I stand super proud of being 💯 percent Kainaiiki, Blood Tribe
