LEED certification isn't just for new buildings, existing buildings too have big potential to go GREEN.

LEED-certified buildings are proven to save money, improve efficiency, lower carbon emissions and create healthier places for people. They are a critical part of addressing the climate crisis, meeting ESG goals, enhancing resilience, and supporting more equitable communities. Today, green building has grown into a trillion-dollar industry and USGBC’s members are leading these efforts.

AI Shading is an economical solution for buildings to incorporate during or after construction in efforts to become LEED certified.

AI Shading strongly believes in having automated shades in senior homes, because not only does our technology help with regulating room temperatures, but it is also energy efficient as more provinces are pushing to have air conditioning installed for homes in order to prevent heat-related deaths.

According to the province of Ontario, about 60 percent of homes are fully air-conditioned, including resident rooms. An additional 23 percent of homes are working towards being fully air-conditioned. News

“There are still 289 homes that do not have air conditioning in resident rooms. The legislation states that these senior homes must have air conditioning in the common areas.” says Long-term care advocate Vivian Stamatopoulos.
