Remembering the Brentwood Five ❤️

Lawrence Hong, Zackariah Rathwell
Jordan Segura, Kaiti Perras and Josh Hunter.

It was a case that left our city in fear: a brazen and violent attack on a young store clerk.

There were no eyewitnesses and no CCTV.

And, soon, investigators discovered she wasn’t the only victim.

There had also been a savage attack at an ATM just hours earlier.
Join me for the latest episode of Global TV’s true crime documentary series- as I share how key evidence from that case- helped police track the killer in “The Night Shift.”

Please leave me a comment below if you will be joining me on Friday, March 13th, on Global TV for Crime Beat TV.

I’m celebrating several major milestones this month wanted to share two of the biggest ones:

**Seven years ago, we launched the Crime Beat podcast!***

**Thirty years ago, I put together my first story for Global News- working at the former RDTV in Red Deer!**

I can’t express enough how much I appreciate your continued support of both the Crime Beat podcast and our Crime Beat TV documentary series! A special thank you to every family who has trusted me to share their story

Can you help?

The families of the Brentwood Five have reported a theft from the special place created to honour Lawrence Hong, Zackariah Rathwell, Jordan Segura, Kaiti Perras and Josh Hunter.

The bronze plaque is missing from Quinterra Legacy Garden- see photo below.

If you can help or have information please contact police asap.

** The Quinterra Legacy Garden is a special place people can go to heal and remember the five young people, and will include elements that reflect each of their personalities through arts and design.
