Every year, through my businesses Soul Sufficient and Sugar Mama Body Sugaring I raise money to give struggling families everything they need for Christmas! From stockings, to gifts under the tree, to Christmas dinner - Just as I was supported the first few years I was a single mama.

Yes, this decade started with a lot of heartache. I lost my son, my marriage and the facade of happiness I was hiding behind. It’s been an heartbreaking and a life giving journey, my thirties, as I shed every layer of who I thought I was and started showing up as I am, truly living this Soul Sufficient life out loud.

So here’s to 39! And oh how I plan to savour every last minute of this decade that has been my beautiful undoing.

Other highlights.
I read 10 books, had 2 showers, watched 9 sunsets and 1 sunrise, saw the Grand Canyon, Old Faithful, the Space Needle & the Golden Gate Bridge, tried oysters and clam chowder for the first time, was notified of my divorce finalizing, drove the Vegas strip at night & gambled for the first time, slept in my van at rest stops and the side of the road for 8 nights, found a Starbucks every day, drove through a tree, watched Fourth of July fireworks on the beach, saw grey whales & elephant seals, and took a dozen wrong turns at least.

But the very best story will always be, a woman who chooses courage over comfort in every way.

Every solo journey I embark on, whether for 2 or 10 days, gives me the opportunity to know and love myself better. This offers me the chance to share myself more openly, bravely, authentically & vulnerably with the world.
