🇨🇦 Canada has introduced new rules on who can work without a work permit, focusing on business visitors entering the country. 🇨🇦

The updated guidelines clarify that the common examples of eligible activities are not limited—meaning more types of short-term business activities may qualify for exemption, as long as they meet the criteria.

Business visitors can still work in Canada without a permit if their activities are international in scope and they are not entering the local labor market. This pathway remains one of the fastest ways to legally work in Canada for short-term purposes.

However, immigration officers will carefully assess each case, and even minor criminal records could affect entry.

📌 Bottom line: Canada is making it clearer (and slightly more flexible) for business visitors to work without a permit—but eligibility still depends on meeting strict conditions.

The CELPIP Writing Test can be challenging, but using the right strategies can make a big difference. Experts suggest practicing typing on a computer, carefully understanding the writing prompt, and organizing your ideas clearly before you start writing. Using a variety of vocabulary and grammar, keeping an eye on the word count, and managing your time effectively are also important for a strong response. Finally, always review your work before submitting to catch spelling or grammar mistakes.

With consistent practice and the right preparation, test takers can build confidence and perform better on exam day.

📌 Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) just held the 11th Express Entry draw of the year!
➡️ This round was specifically for candidates under the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP).

🔹 A total of 264 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) were issued.
🔹 The minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score needed was 710.
🔹 To qualify, candidates had to have submitted their Express Entry profile before August 7, 2025.

🏅 PNP candidates remain a priority — having a provincial nomination gives a huge boost to your CRS score, almost guaranteeing an ITA.
