Backstory❤️

This client originally came to me for a hair extension consultation.
Cutting the matted hair and starting fresh with extensions would have meant a yearly investment of approximately $6,000.

But before that, they had already been to three different salons, spent $1,500, and left without a solution, only more damage and less trust.

When they came to me, I saw something else. I saw that the hair might still be saved.

I was honest about the risk. I was hopeful, but also cautious.
I kept asking myself why others couldn’t finish it and whether I truly could.

Still, I trusted my knowledge and experience with fine, fragile hair.

We worked slowly. Carefully.
Over two days and 8.5 hours, with help from another stylist who believed in the process as much as I did, we moved forward step by step.

There was shedding. There was discomfort. There were moments of doubt. But there was also progress.

After dematting, we focused on restoring cleansing treatments, deep hydration, a careful trim, and gentle styling.

No bald spots. No alopecia. Just hair that needed patience and proper care.

I did charge for the work but far less than extensions would have cost. Because sometimes the right solution isn’t the most profitable one.

I’m sharing this not to impress, but to remind:
Knowledge matters. Patience matters and care should always come first.
