1. Keystone XL? Years of federal red tape then Biden killed it.
2. Energy East and Northern Gateway? Buried by Ottawa rules and B.C. activists.
3. Trans Mountain? Feds had to buy it and it went from $7 billion to $34 billion. Alberta taxpayers got hosed while our oil sat in the ground.
Being chained to Ottawa isn’t helping us build s**t. It’s the problem. We beg for permission while they suck billions out in equalization, push their net-zero garbage, and let courts and green nuts tie everything up. Alberta has the resources. The bottleneck is Ottawa answering to Toronto, Quebec and the activists, not Alberta workers and families.

Investors?

They’d line up if we controlled our own backyard. Right now Canadian political risk scares them off — endless delays, carbon taxes, Impact Assessment Act bulls**t. Independent Alberta cuts the crap, keeps our own money, and makes real deals with the U.S. and Asia. Simple as that.

We’re not doing this for fun. The federation is rigged against us. They can’t build pipelines under Trudeau or Carney, but somehow independence is the crazy idea?
