Marand Engines

More boosted LS engines.

Another really nice mild boost LS 6.0 featuring a full BTR valve train, forged pistons, stainless valves, and tons of upgrades throughout!

Another ford done and on its way out the door.

It seems that classic fords have taken off and there's something to be said about the classic small blocks.

This 302 came in with what seemed like a well setup package but digging deeper found that it was a slap and go project. Once torn down we noticed that the cylinders were 30 over already but never machined before the new stroker kit went in. Once measured it was pretty worn past that, so it had to go bigger.

We took the opportunity to get a 4.037 piston from to reduce the amount of machining needed. Cleaned the block, squared up and surfaced the decks and got everything trued up.

We then balanced the complete rotating assembly which was clear wasn't balanced before being put into the engine.

We then added in a pretty stout comp cams camshaft with a set of Afr enforcer heads, and rounded out the build with roller rockers and upgraded pushrods.

This engine is headed to the dyno in a couple weeks and we have very big expectations for it.
