This beautiful and functional cutting board is a must-have for any kitchen. It is custom-built from high-density exotic wood mixes sourced from around the world. The mix includes local woods such as walnut, oak, maple, and ash, as well as exotic woods from Central America (purple heart and padauk) and African hardwoods (wenge, bubinga, and sapele). The unique chaos design gives it a character that will make it a functional décor piece in your kitchen.
The board is designed with sustainability in mind, as it allows for the use of small pieces of leftover hardwood from different projects. Every inch of hardwood is valuable! The process involves a lot of work, from sorting and preparing pieces, ensuring all glue-ups are done correctly, to creatively selecting the unique pattern of each board.
End-grain boards are known for their exceptional beauty, resilience, and ability to resist cuts. They are also gentle on your knives and can handle heavy use.
