People are often surprised that I make everything myself.

Truth is… I started cooking professionally 25 years ago — from my first kitchen job at Earls, to culinary school, to winning a cooking competition, to working in some of the best hotels + restaurants in Hong Kong.

I learned under chefs with ridiculous standards… and I kept those standards.

That’s why at Lemmy’s, we don’t “sell it anyway.”

When we took over Lemon Bites, we wanted it to be more than just good lemonade and tasty treats. We wanted it to be a small, bright moment in someone’s day — something that makes people smile, especially when life feels heavy.

Today we felt that come full circle.

A customer who loves lemons and keeps track of her favourite lemonades told her friend she had just had the best lemonade she’s ever tasted here. And later, a couple came in to try our Lemon Bites because a friend had raved about them. They bought one to share… and on their way out, the husband told us he had just joked to his wife that he wished they weren’t married yet — so they could have Lemon Bites at their wedding. 🥹🍋

That kind of joy, laughter, and word-of-mouth love means everything to us.
