Attention brothers and sisters! Help needed for the Civic Coalition shuttle bus during the Stampede. Volunteers needed for 3-5 hour shifts. Night shifts from 17:00-22:00 Monday-Friday and 19:00-22:00 on Saturday and Sunday. There’s also some mid-day shifts on Saturday and Sunday as well as afternoons. Your help would be much appreciated! June is National Indigenous History Month in Canada, a time to recognize and celebrate the rich histories, diverse cultures and enduring contributions of First Nations, Inuit and Métis Peoples. It is also an opportunity to reflect on the impacts of colonialism, to deepen our understanding of Indigenous experiences and to support ongoing efforts towards truth and reconciliation as well as meaningful partnership. Throughout the month, Canadians are encouraged to learn, listen and engage with Indigenous voices, stories and communities.
