ATMA CENA Practitioners

As a clinician, there's a big difference between a cerebral understanding about psychedelic-assisted therapy... and an inside-out comprehension of the full experience your clients undergo.
Our Psychedelic Therapy Immersive Experience is a unique offering: practitioners who've completed their advanced training can move through the full arc of care from the client perspective. That means intake, preparation, a medically supervised immersive experience in our Calgary clinic, and integration — alongside a small cohort (maximum 10 participants) where you alternate between receiving care and holding space for others.
The insight you gain isn't theoretical. It's embodied. It's the difference between knowing how to prepare someone and understanding what preparation FEELS like. Between knowing about integration and experiencing what it means to have someone hold space, while you process something profound.
The current cohort runs June 15–30 and is nearly full. The next one won't be until later in the year.
If you're a practitioner ready to deepen your understanding by moving through this work yourself — this is the opportunity.

For a lot of therapists, it started with a question from a client they weren't sure how to answer.
Psychedelic-assisted therapy is no longer a fringe conversation. It's showing up in session rooms, in research journals, and in the minds of people who have tried everything else. For licensed therapists, psychologists, and counsellors, that means one thing: the field is moving, and the question is whether your training moves with it.
ATMA CENA's Clinical Pathway is designed for experienced therapists who are ready to go from curious to clinically confident — with the structure, ethics, and evidence base to do this work well. And for those who complete it, the ATMA CENA CoCare model offers a real pathway to practice.
Amanda, a psychologist with over a decade of experience, put it this way: *"When a longtime client made more progress in one medically-supervised session than in months of talk therapy, I knew I couldn't ignore this any longer."*

What if healing depression or PTSD wasn't just about changing your thoughts — but actually changing the structure of your brain?
Emerging research in neuroscience is shedding light on one of the most compelling mechanisms behind psychedelic-assisted therapy: neuroplasticity. A 2025 review published in *Frontiers in Psychiatry* found that certain compounds appear to promote rapid, significant changes in dendritic structure — the branching connections between neurons — within hours of administration, with some structural changes persisting for weeks. Researchers describe a state of heightened brain openness that may make the mind especially responsive to new ways of thinking, processing, and healing. What the evidence suggests is that guided therapeutic work during this window isn't incidental — it's central.
In our clinics, every session is medically supervised and paired with preparation and integration support — because the science is clear that context matters as much as biology.

Access to evidence-based mental health care shouldn't depend on where you live.
ATMA CENA operates corporate clinics in Calgary and Edmonton, AND has a national network of member clinics spanning coast to coast — with locations in Hamilton, London, Mississauga, Montreal, North Bay, Oakville, Sarnia, Saskatoon, Vaughan, Kitchener, Windsor, Winnipeg, and more. For patients, that means the path to psychedelic-assisted therapy, general therapy, or rTMS is closer than most people realize. For practitioners in our training network, it means a growing clinical infrastructure built on shared standards of care and a real pathway into practice through the CoCare model.
We're building something — not someday, but now.
