I have fond memories of designing, building and living in Trehus. It has been an awesome place to raise my magnificent children, work, celebrate, play and entertain. Mostly I have found that people have been intimidated by it, and haven’t understood how easily such a fun, sustainable and nurturing living place can be built. Many are still mystified at my $300 monthly bill for heat and hydro. Our super insulated building construction standard, passive solar design, deep artesian well, geothermal system and masonary stove together are the rare and amazingly efficient combination that makes everything possible and cozy.
