ANYLOAD load cells are not just analog components for static scales.

In this case study, a research team used ANYLOAD load cells with CAN J1939 digital amplifiers to measure material distribution in an air seeder test stand. The goal was to capture real-time weight data across multiple collection points more efficiently than traditional manual methods.

This project highlights three things about our capabilities:
• Digital load cells and signal conditioning for cleaner, easier-to-use data
• CAN J1939 integration for mobile agricultural and construction equipment environments where long cable runs, vibration, dust, and shared networks are common
• Support for special projects and educational institutions, including force measurement applications with real-world value beyond the lab

For multi-sensor systems, digital output simplifies integration and scaling. In this application, the J1939 network provided reliable communication through built-in error checking, message prioritization, and fault-tolerant design, making it well suited to demanding agricultural systems.

CAN J1939 Load Cells for Air Seeder Testing A research team set out to understand how material moves through an air-based distribution system to improve the performance of agricultural air seeders.

Last week in Seoul, Korea, we formalized an important step in ANYLOAD’s continued growth in the region.

An MoU was signed between our Canadian headquarters and our Korean subsidiary, recognizing the significant investment made over the past year and our intent to further expand our operations, team, and capabilities in Korea. The signing was witnessed by Maninder Sidhu, Canada’s Minister of International Trade, and Phillippe Lafortune, Ambassador of Canada to the Republic of Korea.

As part of the & sector delegation, ANYLOAD’s participation reflects our role as a manufacturer of mission-critical force and weighing sensors used in testing, monitoring, and high-reliability systems across demanding environments.

This initiative supports our broader strategy to grow exports into Korea while also developing local manufacturing and R&D capabilities in-country. It reflects the strength of our long-standing presence in the market and our commitment to building a sustainable platform for customers and partners across Asia Pacific.

This comes at a time of increasing Canada–Korea industrial cooperation, including Canada’s CA$45 billion submarine procurement program, where Hanwha Ocean is one of two final contenders. The project represents a major potential investment into Canada and highlights the strength of bilateral trade between two economies where Canada remains a reliable global exporter of natural resources and advanced technologies.
