When I first sat down to write 𝑪𝒂𝒏 𝒀𝒐𝒖 𝑯𝒆𝒂𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑯𝒂𝒍𝒄𝒚𝒐𝒏𝒔 𝑺𝒊𝒏𝒈?, I knew I didn't want to write a simple "baby book." Beneath the rhyming verse, it’s a bittersweet coming-of-age story about the loss of innocence, the dreams we’ve forgotten, and remembering the people who shaped us into who we are today.

Much like The Little Prince, it’s a story you can grow up with, one that shifts in perspective depending on the era of your life you happen to be reading it in. Even though it is dressed up as a children's book, it is absolutely written to pluck at your heartstrings, playing melodies for your inner child. ❤️🎶

Here’s one way to get creative with red envelope designs while recognizing your non-Asian family name. I’ve seen ones branded with Chinese last names being sold and thought I can do something similar with my version of a twist. I lucked out that HERNANDEZ is 9 letters, meaning it can stack 3x3 to shape like a Chinese character… like it’s meant to be 🙏🏻
