True Grit Equine Bodywork

Not every part of this work looks like hands-on.
Some days it looks like stepping back.
Getting quiet.
Watching instead of fixing.
Horses don’t hide much if you’re willing to pay attention.
In how the stand…
How they move…
How they carry tension.
That’s where it starts.
The better you get at seeing it,
the better you get at helping them.

This is the kind of “work” that doesn’t look like
work — but matters the most!

Happy Easter 🐣
This time of year always reminds me how much is going on all at once with calving season, caring for horses, and trying to take in the small moments in between.
Grateful to be a part of it, even if things look a little different this year.
Wishing everyone a happy Easter 🐣

Spending more time really paying attention to how horses move and carry themselves.
It’s interesting how much you can pick up just by slowing down and noticing the small things such as where they’re tight, how they shift, what feels off.
Still learning lots, but starting to connect the dots.

Starting my journey with True Grit Equine Bodywork.
I’m currently working through my training, focusing on how movement, tension, and muscle function all connect in the horse.
My goal is to build this the right way—by taking the time to learn, understand, and develop solid hands-on skills before offering full services.
Based in Alberta and looking forward to growing this within the local horse community.
Always open to learning more—if you’re local and open to letting me observe or learn around your horses, I appreciate it.
