Red is a purebred Border Collie with exceptional physical and personality traits. He comes from proven working lines and has displayed very strong herding instinct. He has worked sheep and ducks, and has proven his own focus and drive time and time again.

Red also has the most amazing personality, and the best word many use when describing him is “easy”. He is empathetic to a degree that has brought me to tears more than once. If he wasn’t intact, this boy would make the most amazing therapy dog, as more than once he has consoled a complete stranger in distress. He will also quite literally drag me across a store simply to go sit quietly next to a small child.

He is incredibly intelligent and has excelled at everything we’ve tried. We’ve been through agility training, and though we haven’t competed, we practice on the farm simply because he loves it so much. He loves performing tricks and also loves learning new tricks.

He is a well balanced and all around amazing dog! To date, he has sired 2 beautiful litters, all of which clearly display his amazing traits. If ever there was a dog who should continue his line, this is the boy!

Red has been cleared by OFA for both hip and elbow dysplasia.
