Re-sharing our model call in the hopes to find a couple dogs who fit these age ranges ❤️

WINDSOR/ESSEX DOGGY MODEL CALL: “In the blink of an eye”

Hey Windsor/Essex dog owners, I’m working on a very special storytelling photo concept that I hope to enter into competitions this year, and I\m looking for FOUR dogs of the same breed and colour to help bring this to life:

🐶 Puppy (8–10 weeks)
🐕 Adolescent (6–7 months)
🐾 Adult (3–5 years)
🤍 Senior (10+ years)

These four dogs will be photographed as part of a composite image that I cannot wait to bring to life!

What I’m looking for:
* Preferably a med-large breed such as the Border Collie, Golden Retriever, German Shepherd, Malinois, Huskies, or solid-coloured coat.
* Markings that will be relatively easy to match up across different dogs (sorry but merles, speckled, harlequin markings will not be selected).
* Comfortable running (or trotting for the senior) towards their owner from approx 30ft

Selected participants receive:
- A complimentary mini session for this project with 2 images of your beloved pup professionally created and edited as a beautiful memory
- All dogs will be photographed separately so nervous or reactive dogs are welcome to apply

Yesterday I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Buddee, and I truly cannot believe this boy hasn’t had more interest yet.

Buddee is blind — both of his eyes have been removed.
But here’s the thing… it doesn’t slow him down.

He moves through the world with trust, determination, and a quiet confidence that is honestly incredible to watch. And if you’ve got snacks? You’ve got his full attention — this boy loves to work for food and learns quickly with it.

He is incredibly loving, gentle, and once he feels safe, he bonds deeply with his person.

🏡 Buddee’s ideal home:

To help him thrive, Buddee is looking for a very specific (but very doable) environment:

• No other dogs or cats
• A calm home where children (if present) understand and respect boundaries
• A fully fenced yard (no apartments)
• A safe, predictable space — no pools or hazardous obstacles in the yard/home

Consistency and structure will help him build confidence and navigate his world safely.

Buddee needs someone willing to meet him where he is and see just how capable and loving he truly is.

Dogs like him love differently — deeper, stronger, and with complete trust.

This beautiful pup has won multiple awards and LOVES competing in shed hunt, where they search for hidden antlers in a large area.
