Why Not City Missions

A current need at Why Not:

We're looking for volunteers to join a monthly deep cleaning crew! 🧹✨

We're creating a team that will help with deep cleaning projects at our three locations:
🏠 SHYP (our home for young mothers)
🏠 Charlie's Place (our homes for young men)
🏠 The Youth Centre

The commitment is simple: just one morning a month, either on a weekday or a Saturday, depending on what works best for your schedule.

No special experience is required—just a willingness to pitch in and help. Whether it's organizing, scrubbing, or tackling those deep-cleaning jobs that often get pushed to the bottom of the list, your time will help keep our spaces safe, comfortable, and welcoming for the young people we serve. ❤️

We wanted to take a moment to thank some of the AMAZING businesses and individuals who came together to help make our "Ultimate Throwdown" Year-end party such a success!

🧤🏠 A few current needs at our Youth Centre and homes!

As often happens, some of our most-used kitchen items are ready for replacement. We are currently looking for new or gently used:

• Oven mitts
• Tea towels
• Dish cloths

If you'd like to help, donations can be dropped off at our Youth Centre (368 Colborne Street). We also love receiving surprise Amazon deliveries! 📦✨We have added a couple of items to our amazon wishlist ( https://a.co/07H5zAX1 ) but, as always, feel free to source from the most affordable options.
