As the school year comes to a close, we want to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to our students, families, school staff, volunteers, donors, and community partners for your incredible support throughout the year. 🍎📚

Together, we helped nourish minds and bodies, ensuring students had access to healthy food and the support they need to learn, grow, and thrive.

We wish everyone a happy, safe, and relaxing summer filled with sunshine, fun, and well-deserved rest. ☀️🌻

🌟 Student Leadership in Action 🌟

At St. Puis X Catholic Elementary School, our snack program is powered by more than healthy food. It’s powered by incredible students like Lorena’s helpers, Lucius and Willow.

Each week, Lucius proudly hands out apple bowls and makes it his mission to choose one special apple for a student in every class. His thoughtful gesture brings a little extra joy to snack time and shows how small acts of kindness can make a big impact.

Willow has become an essential part of the program by helping manage the collection bins. She’s so efficient that she can hand over bins and their contents faster than they can be washed and put away! Through her role, Willow has developed new language, counting, and organizational skills while building confidence and independence.

Recently, both students were recognized with special medals for their contributions. After receiving hers, Willow proudly ran through the hallway as fellow students celebrated her achievement with high fives all around. 💛

These moments remind us that student nutrition programs do more than provide healthy food, they create opportunities for leadership, responsibility, learning, and belonging.
