I was so happy to make this special card to celebrate 50 years of marriage. Inspired by one I've seen on Pinterest, I enjoyed pulling out elements and making it my own. Always a pleasure to create a card for a specific occasion 💕

I created this gorgeous fun fold card earlier this Spr ingusing my current favourite designer series paper — a stunning pack of coordinating florals! 🌸💌 The unique fold adds a playful surprise, perfect for any occasion. I’m obsessed with how beautifully the layers work together — so much charm in every detail! 💕 It’s so satisfying when a design comes together - this is why I love what I do!

I'm back at my desk again after a long break due to a variety of things, but so happy to be creating again! 😊

Today's card is created with a background made from an embossing folder, colour ink and black ink. Then I added some butterfly die cuts, and a large leaf die on top. I saw this technique first from a fabulous Canadian cardmaker and loved it so much I had to do it! There are several different kinds of embossing folders this technique will work with. It's a great way to be creative with the folders you have on hand, to do something different with them.
Perfect card for a friend, or change the sentiment to match any occasion.
