Once you accept that you are where you are because of decisions YOU made, you start to control the direction of your future.

Regardless of circumstance.

For instance, if I bought a house and it turned out to be a money pit, I still made the decision to buy that house. Sure, I did all the right things, maybe I got a home inspection, but I still decided to buy that house.

Or maybe you work at a job where you think you don’t get paid a fair wage. Well, working there was your choice and continuing to work there is your choice.

I’m definitely not saying that you can control a foundation leak, or that you can somehow set your own wage at a job. All I’m saying is that you made the decisions that got you to where you are.

Be accountable. Own where you are. Control you future.

If you told me 18 months ago that I’d be at home full time with my daughter while building an online business, I probably would have laughed.

But that’s exactly what happened.

I remember, as the due date drew closer, I intensified my job search. I knew I couldn’t work the same demanding job that I had been.

Thankfully, I didn’t have much luck in that job search, so I kept my head down and worked.

After she was born, leaving in the morning before she woke up and getting home right before bed time was no longer an option.

So I ventured online, and got hooked up with Lloyd and Bryan, my mentors, and a team of incredible people to grow and build with.

Now we’ve just launched our platform, iKonic Marketer.

& in the first week since it’s launch, has made a huge impact on everyone’s business.
