Women represent approximately 26.7% of the global tech workforce (Deloitte 2025/2026 data).
In core computing roles, it's often around 28% in the US/Canada contexts, with drops to ~15-22% in leadership, AI, and specialized areas.
Despite women being nearly half the overall workforce, the gender gap persists, highlighting the need for intentional action.
