What a perfect start to a summer of reading!

Today was the Local Authors Showcase Book Fair at Garden Square, where I joined 56 other talented authors. It was definitely a hot morning but the shining sun was matched by the high energy of avid readers. A couple of highlights include meeting Nadine Foster and having the CEO of Brampton Library, Todd Kyle, purchase a copy of Pinglish Poetry.

A Mindful Maalish and Dadi's Dupattas are available for everyone to borrow at Brampton Library.

For anyone that's been following along on our journey, you know the most consistent videos we have put out there are the weekly garbage truck visits. For Ethan's champagne birthday celebration (he turned 3 yesterday, on the 3rd), we HAD to celebrate with garbage trucks! It's been a busy and memorable day.

Thank you again .ca for making my three-nager's dream come true

We had a phenomenal time at the Ontario Book Fair & Markets yesterday. Incredible conversations with dozens of book lovers and super appreciative of how many teachers bought books for their classrooms! Looking forward to the feedback from so many young readers.

✨ Meet Our Artists ✨

Join us for a reading by Deborah Dinshaw as part of Gathering Divergence Spring 2026.

Deb Dinshaw was born in the 1980s in Toronto, Ontario. She grew up in a time period where there were not many folks who looked like her. Beyond that, many adults in her life would ask her for her real name when she introduced herself. Deborah was an introvert and book worm since childhood. She developed her public speaking skills by being an audience member at her mother's Toastmasters sessions.

Deb got her BSc in Forensic Psychology at the University of Toronto and then completed a Masters in Counselling Psychology. She had a thirteen year career at CIBC before spending almost six years at Amazon. While excelling in all her roles, it was evident that she had a knack for storytelling and could move people with her words.
