Parquet flood repair. This condo lobby floor was flooded by a sprinkler malfunction. After the water was cleaned up, a couple small sections of wood had buckled and split. We replaced it with a temporary epoxy fix. In the meantime, we began treatment on replacement wood pieces as this was not a pigmented finish. After the wood treatment was colour matched, the new wood sections were installed within the parquet floor.

The final touches on a beautiful floor restoration project. Sanding down and refinishing the main staircase. A little filler to hide the gap between the riser and tread.(it grown to as much as 1/4” in some spots)
As good as new. Ready for another work for another generation.
