There have been rumours since last few months that RE/MAX will be taken over by another big brand.

Today it has been confirmed. REAL Brokerage is acquiring RE/MAX Holdings. But here’s what that actually means, because there’s a difference between the holding company and the brand.

RE/MAX Holdings, the parent corporation, will become Real REMAX Group. That’s the entity that trades on the stock market. That’s the corporate structure changing.

The RE/MAX brand? It continues. Both RE/MAX and Real will operate as separate brands under the combined company. The press release confirms it.

Currently real estate is going through lot of changes. We will see the results in coming years.
